UniKidz Strand will be located in a special place on Strandeiland: a brand-new island in Amsterdam that is still under development. Here, the unique UniKidz childcare program will be available to children aged 0 to 13 years. UniKidz Strand will open in  primary school Poseidon Strand, where childcare and education come together in a familiar and inspiring environment. Registration is now open!

At UniKidz, children discover what they truly enjoy, because we work with a talent development program that offers a unique and extensive range of activities. We truly see every child, and our concept has been creating happy children and parents for years!

Our Activities

Wonder. That’s what it’s all about. We want to introduce children to new experiences – and, above all, let them actively explore and try them. That’s why we created our own talent development program, built around four labels. Each label has its own range of activities. At MindKidz, children learn to code; at SkillsKidz, they can design their own clothing line; at FitKidz, they stay active in a variety of ways; and at SoulKidz, they discover their voice, movement styles, and imagination through singing, dancing, and acting.

Thanks to our focus on each individual child, they feel free to develop their talents. Our professional teachers and dedicated pedagogical staff create an environment where children feel safe, secure, and supported.

Would you like your child to start earlier?

That is possible at one of our six UniKidz locations on IJburg. UniKidz was founded on IJburg, where the first after-school care opened in 2009. From this location, UniKidz has grown into an organization with multiple locations, while the unique talent development–focused program has always remained at its core.

Within this program, children are given plenty of space to explore, be active, and be themselves. By starting earlier at a UniKidz location on IJburg, there is no need to wait for the opening of UniKidz Strand, and your child can immediately become part of the familiar UniKidz environment and daily activities.
