Our toddlers are continuously encouraged to develop and grow. They do this largely on their own, in their own playful way. At UniKidz, we call this “self-development through play.” Of course, always guided with care and expertise by our dedicated team.

Development

We support children’s development by offering activities that are appropriate for their age, with a balanced mix of active and relaxing moments, both indoors and outdoors. This stage of life is especially enjoyable. Children have already learned basic skills and are becoming increasingly curious about the world around them. 

Between the ages of 2 and 4, your child makes significant progress in social-emotional development, develops new motor skills, becomes toilet trained, and rapidly expands their vocabulary and language abilities. At the same time, the “toddler phase” emerges, and the word “no” is heard more often. 

In short, it’s a wonderful age to further expand the activities within our program. Of course, there is always plenty of time for children to relax and rest as well.

Because our locations are equipped with facilities such as a sports hall, cooking studio, dance/theatre room, STEAM makerspace, atelier, and outdoor play area, we are able to offer many of our activities on-site.

At our daycare centers, we work with familiar, consistent caregivers within each group. This provides a sense of security and trust. Our staff create a warm and welcoming environment where children quickly feel at home at UniKidz. Our team consists of passionate MBO-, HBO-, and WO-qualified professionals, each with their own area of expertise. This includes, for example, a creative therapist, dance and theatre teacher, sports and movement instructor, nurse, and pedagogical coach.
